Kansas State University students learn the process of the “Wabash Cannonball,” a pregame tradition at athletic events, during a new student convocation and pep rally Aug. 20, 2023, in Bramlage Coliseum. This year’s convocation is at 5 p.m. Sunday.

K-State students will finish moving back to town for the new school year this weekend, and they will kick things off with the new student convocation at Bramlage Coliseum Sunday evening.

At the event, incoming students will learn K-State traditions and be welcomed officially for their first semester at the university.

Those wanting to avoid the increase in traffic may want to steer clear of the K-State campus Friday and Saturday.
